Annual Cork glide-in. Usually meet at Noel Barretts shop Washington St in Cork city at 0900hrs and the slope is decided that morning by the Cork guys. Lots of great slopes to fly whatever the wind is doing.

ISR meetings are held at Mt Leinster. Usually fly Saturday and Sunday. Fun fly with a little combat for good measure.

Annual SMFC glide-in has been held at Tountinna near Killaloe for the last few years and will be held there again this year. Great day out, with all welcome to come and fly. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and a good slope which takes most wind directions. Lots of glider pilots in the Shannon region and are usually joined by good numbers from Cork and the rest of the country.

Shannon MFC hold mid-week gliding sessions at Tountinna (near Killaloe) during the summer evenings and dates will be posted soon. There may also be an aero-tow at some stage as well.
